Autodesk® Vault 4

Autodesk® Vault is an easy-to-use data management tool integrated with Autodesk Inventor® Series, Autodesk Inventor® Professional, AutoCAD® Mechanical, and AutoCAD® Electrical products.

It helps design teams track work in progress and maintain version control in multi-user environments. And it helps them organize and reuse designs by consolidating product information and reducing the need to re-create designs from scratch. Users can store and search both CAD data (such as Autodesk Inventor, DWG, and DWF™ files) and non-CAD documents (such as Microsoft® Word and Excel files). Autodesk Vault helps companies maximize the return on their engineering investment and deliver products on time.

Autodesk Vault is the foundation of Autodesk's data management solution. Vault provides a single, secure repository for design data, storing designs in a central location so engineers can find, reference and reuse design data.  The entire life cycle of a project is captured in Autodesk Vault, so that every member of the engineering team can access a single source for design data. Vault's version management capability protects work-in-progress data, minimizing the risk of overwriting.  Design efforts are synchronized, and costly mistakes are reduced.

If you are running Autodesk Inventor® Series, Autodesk Inventor® Professional, AutoCAD® Mechanical, and AutoCAD® Electrical, you already own a copy of Vault!  Join us for our next Vault Introductory Training Workshop or for our comprehensive, Two-day Vault Fundamentals Training Course.
